We invited Ms. Yuki Ito, former researcher of the Japanese Embassy to Nepal and a Ph.D. Candidate with Niigata University to speak about civil laws, dowry and women's position in Nepalese society.

We also have Mr. Nick Langton, The Nepal Representative of the Asia Foundation talk about The Asia Foundation programs on women's empowerment against the backdrop of recently increased cases of trafficking in women and children. The difficulty of NGO activities in Maoist regions will be another serious issue we will discuss.
