PARTNERSHIPS

The Asia Foundation actively seeks partnerships with those who share its values, vision, and approach to fostering positive change in Asia, and is pleased to partner on programs that fall within the Foundation’s areas of thematic, technical, and country expertise.

The Asia Foundation's budget comes from a combination of corporate social responsibility program budet and corporate foundation grant, successful competition for funding from governmental and multi-national development agencies, and an annual appropriation from the U.S. Congress.　The Asia Foundation’s collaboration with its institutional funding partners takes a number of different forms, including grants, contracts, cost-sharing, and fee-for-service arrangements. In a number of countries, The Asia Foundation has also played a coordinating role among multiple funders to ensure that funds allocated for a common program activity are channeled in non-duplicative, mutually reinforcing manner.
